It is with deep regret that the Society has learned of the death on 5th March of Emeritus Professor John McInerney (Exeter), OBE, former President of the Agricultural Economics Society (1996-1997) and recipient of the Society's Award for Excellence for outstanding contribution to the profession. An obituary will be published in due course in the Journal of Agricultural Economics.

Celebration of the Life of John McInerney 

We warmly invite you to attend the celebration of John’s life.  The service will be held at Holy Cross Church, Cruwys Morchard on Saturday 10^th May at midday. As well as his loving family, we hope to see folk from all walks of John’s varied life. 

For the church, there is plenty of parking at the adjacent Cruwys Morchard village hall which is just a short walk from the church.  The loos will be open in the village hall for those in need.  The church is easily accessed off the B3137 can be easily found using the postcode or what3words details below :
